Alain Mainville (Bilingual)

A graduate of St-Lawrence College, Alain has worked in various industries developing his skills and knowledge in the bookkeeping, accounting and taxation fields for over 30 years. He established himself independently in 1998 as Alain Mainville Accounting Services, choosing to help small businesses grow and succeed. Incorporated in 2010, Alain has made the commitment to serve his clients in Eastern Ontario, producing quality work while ensuring ethical standards and accuracy.

Along with his memberships in the Intuit ProAdvisor program, Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada, Sage Accountants Network, Alain keeps up-to-date on current accounting practices and Income Tax laws.

Lyse Longtin

Lyse Longtin joined the Mainville & Associates/Associés Inc. team in 2012, bringing with her more than 25 years of experience as a bookkeeper for small businesses and non-profit organizations. Her exposure to retail, wholesale and international business provided her with great experience in many aspects of business leadership.

Lyse has been involved in different organizations. She was project manager for the creation of a directory for the 200 members of an association. She successfully initiated a partnership between two associations that allowed the creation of a book to help dyslexic children in schools. Lyse is a dedicated professional who does not hesitate to volunteer and support various non-profit organizations.

Theresa Mainville

Theresa has been Alain’s strongest supporter. She has taken on the role of part-time executive assistant along with various other roles as needed.

As the business has developed over the years, Theresa has been Alain’s sounding board and has been active in helping develop the business into the success it is today.

Mike Roy, CPB

Certified Professional Bookkeeper

Mike grew up in Gloucester and has lived in south Ottawa for over 30 years. He has a diverse management and financial background having worked for Pepsi Cola Canada, Maple Leaf Foods and other prominent local companies over his thirty-five-year career. He became a Certified Professional Bookkeeper in 2012 and has maintained active membership with The Certified Professional Bookkeepers of Canada since that time.

Mike was very pleased to have an opportunity to join Mainville & Associates/Associés Inc. as an Associate in June 2020 and works very hard and takes great pride in delivering top quality financial reports to our existing valued customers. When Mike is not crunching numbers, he can be seen volunteering at different events around the city, has coached hockey and lacrosse for many years and he and his wife are foster volunteers with The Ottawa Humane Society.
